First blog post of the year! There’s nothing worse then a blog that hasn’t been updated in years, but I don’t think I’m that bad yet, and at least I managed to make five posts during 2016. To be fair, I’ve not had that much to say. I’ve been busy working, while slowly updating the design work in my portfolio section, one project at a time.
Well that grim. When touch screen technology arrived it was like I was finally living in the future from my childhood… I never expected to end up living in a dystopian future though…
Pumpkin carved. Snacks ready. Doors and windows secured. Playlist sorted. Tonight’s film choices – Tales of Halloween (2015) and Bride of Reanimator (1989).
Thanks for all the good memories Epson RX620. I’m not sure which is my particular favourite. Perhaps it was the time your all-in-one multi purpose scanner stopped working? Just two months after your warranty expired. The random paper jams? Your inability to print black and white if one (non required) colour ink was running low? Or that time I needed to update my portfolio. You actually seemed capable of producing perfect quality prints that day. Only why did you decide to smear black ink over every single image at the last second? Why? How we laughed at that last one.
Summer… that crept up quickly along with a few other things this year: the realisation that I’ve been freelancing for ten years, the 20th anniversary of my HND course, the EU Referendum and turning forty.
I’ve been freelancing for over ten years now, which has come as a bit of a shock. I’ve now been freelancing longer than I have worked full time in-house.
